Within a historic Canonbury townhouse, this project reconfigures the loft floor to create a calm and contemporary bedroom suite beneath the existing roof. The design introduces a new bedroom, dressing area and ensuite, using bespoke joinery and a restrained palette of timber, stone and textured plaster. Carefully positioned rooflights bring soft natural light into the space, creating a warm and refined interior within the historic fabric of the building.
